kita pergi ke kota untuk beli persediaan amunisi dan alat-alat untuk memasak,tapi Edo yg membawa sebuah panah langsung memanah pejalan kaki(aku pikir begitu),aku langsung mengarahkan pistolku ke arahnya dengan ekspresi kaget kutanya dia tapi dia malah menjawab"itu zombie,yg ada di resident evil tw"sehabis itu aku mengecheck bahwa org itu dikonfirmasikan dia seorang zombie.Saat kita melihat-lihat kota yg dipenuhi zombie untuk mencari survivor yg lain,Edo malah ingin mencari jajanan twinkies dengan alasan"loh katanya yg di film zombieland itu satu-satunya makanan yg bisa kita makan"saat kita ke toko alfamart didalam tidak ada satupun mahluk itu,kita mencari suplai-suplai makanan dan kita bertemu Rio,haekal,fahri,fira,devi,evy dan mantan anak kelas 7-7 smp1 balikpapan(ceritanya sudah alumni)kita membuat grup pas ingin keluar dari toko,ternyata kita diserang oleh mahluk mengerikan itu haekal,syifa,alifya dan 10 anak lainnya mati digigit dan ada juga yg dimakan.

kita kabur ke kabinku,dengan sisa grup yg tersisa,tapi pas di toko aku tidak merasakan kehadiran temanku,wahyu ternyata dia memang gak ikut mantan kelas 77,dia di jepang lagi gak tw ngapain.

Riptide takes place immediately after the ending of Dead Island, with the four immune survivors - ex-American football player Logan Carter, rapper Sam B, Hong Kong police officer Xian Mei, and Australian bodyguard Purna - landing on a military ship after escaping from the prison island. They are immediately taken into custody by the Australian Defence Force Colonel Sam Hardy and Frank Serpo, a civilian VIP. In the ship's brig, they meet another immune survivor, ADF Sergeant John Morgan, who claims he was part of a humanitarian effort on a nearby island until Serpo showed up and halted the mission.

Passing out from sedatives applied when they were examined, the player's character wakes up to find the ship overrun with zombies. Serpo flees via helicopter shortly before the ship, out of control, crashes into a rock. The immune regain consciousness on the shore of the island of Palanai and are found by Harlow, a WHO researcher, who tells them the zombie infection has spread there as well. After saving a holdout of survivors they meet Colonel Hardy again; he tells the irate immune that Serpo's organization is interested in weaponizing the Kuru strain that caused the zombie outbreak and, as with Banoi, a nuclear strike against Palanai is planned to purge the infection and cover up the evidence.

At Hardy's suggestion, the survivors decide to travel to the city of Henderson, hoping the nearby army base may offer help. With no intact bridges or working boats, the survivors instead investigate an underground tunnel to reach a pier. A researcher based in the jungle, Dr. Kessler, tells the immune that he believes the zombie-creating virus mutation was created by exposure to chemical weapons. He warns the player these were stored in the tunnels, and that they could act as a mutagen to turn the virus in the immune's bodies into something they can no longer suppress.

As the immune clear the tunnels, Harlow exposes a secretly infected survivor to the chemicals to see the results; the survivor turns into a giant monster. Shortly afterwards, when attacked by a holdout of escaped prisoners who have seized the pier, the survivors go into an involuntary, prolonged fury. Kessler explains this was probably the result of fumes from the chemical weapons acting as a mutagen, but tells them they should be fine if they avoid further exposure. The survivors subsequently reach Henderson, but as they take shelter in a movie theater, Harlow abandons them.

The immune find the military base was overrun and contact Serpo; he tells them there is no nuclear strike planned, that Hardy is not to be trusted, and agrees to send a helicopter to evacuate the survivors. Hardy freely admits he made up the nuclear strike to stir the survivors to action, and in turn insists Serpo is untrustworthy and only intends to evacuate the immune to continue his research. When Serpo's helicopter arrives, Hardy attempts to board it first to prove this. Serpo warns him to let the immune on first, then has him shot and killed. The survivors proceed to shoot the helicopter down.

Finding Serpo alive near the crash site, he tells the immune that Harlow is not only immune, but also a terrorist looking to seize data and a vaccine from a quarantine zone. When the survivors storm the lab in the quarantine zone, they find Harlow; she tells them the outbreaks were started deliberately to test the virus, and there is no vaccine. Harlow, however, is in a violent rage, having had the mutagen tested on herself by the lab's staff. Convinced the immune are too dangerous to live, she takes the mutagen again and attacks them, prompting the other immune to inject themselves with it as well to kill her.

When the immune find a boat, they are greeted by Serpo again, he freely admits to orchestrating the outbreaks, but offers the immune medical help if they come with him. The immune instead leave him to the zombies and evacuate the island with the five other survivors in their party. Six days later, their boat washes up on another island, apparently abandoned. As the game ends, growling is heard from the inside of the boat, and the doorknob to the hold is turned open from the inside and the fates of the immune and the other five survivors are left unclear.

John Morgan is a hero in Dead Island Riptide, the fifth hero to join the original four heroes in Dead Island Riptide. John was a Navy cook who grew up on the Banoi archipelago and joined the Australian Navy. He has trained himself - and become a master - in hand-to-hand combat.

John Morgan is first found in the brig of the Australian Defense Force ship, having been jailed because he refused to follow his superiors' orders that he disagreed with. When the ship runs in trouble during the monsoon, John breaks out of jail and eventually washes ashore on Palanai.

One day I'm gonna have to go back and finish the job…

Gameplay: Purna is a balanced character. Although she might be hard to play at first, due to the difficulty in obtaining firearms and ammo in the beginning, once you reach later stages of the game she becomes a deadly slaying machine. Also, her fury mode has a very high damage rating. With proper use of the talents, she can turn out to be a very powerful character.

Advantages: Fury Mode, Gun Specialist
Disadvantages: Hard to find weapons and ammo in early stages of the game

Recommended for: Intermediate and Advanced players.

Gameplay: Xian has the most stamina, which is good for her blade skills. Her stamina will let you do the most attacks before she gets tired, This combined with her speed makes her a fast killing machine

She ran a washeteria and we lived in a little shotgun house on Burgundy. From the time I was ten, man, I wanted to rap. I was into old school free-style rap and I'd be kicking ass at them battles, brah. But man, I just couldn't catch a break. Nothing caught on. So one Halloween, I came up with "Who Do You Voodoo, Bitch?". Just as a motherfucking joke, you know? It went right to the top of the hip hop charts. Like a motherfucking rocket! Suddenly, I was famous. Going to the Grammies. Hitting the parties. Man, I had bitches up the yin yang and for the first time in my life, I was making money. But shit, I was spending it as quick as I was getting it. I thought I had made it, you know what I'm saying? That the gravy train was never gonna end. So I did another song. And another song. Gameplay: Sam B: Sam is the "Tank" of the game, with the most starting health of all characters, letting him survive for longer. He uses Blunt weapons which are pretty easy to come by even at early stages of the game. However, his low stamina can be a problem as the blunt weapons can be slow and expensive to swing and you might find him getting tired quickly.

Advantages: High health, Blunt weapons abundant and easy to find
Disadvantages: Low Stamina

Recommended for: Beginner and Intermediate players

Character bio: Oh, man. I used to be on top of the world, brother. All-pro quarterback, four years running. Voted the Sexiest Texan in 2004. Beat out Dennis Quaid and Matthew McConaughey for Christ’s sake. So I drank a few beers now and then. Popped the occasional pill. That’s nothing compared to what the team quacks would shoot me up with just so I could play. Sometimes I just needed to numb the pain. You know what I’m saying? My biggest vice was speed. Not meth, buddy, adrenalin. I blew every penny I had on the fastest cars I could find. Just so you know... I'm a damn good driver. If that asshole I was street racing hadn’t a side-swiped me, I never would have crashed. And that poor girl would still be alive. That's right. It's his goddamn fault I shattered my leg in six goddamn places. So I had a few drinks in me. So what the fuck? I drive drunk better than I do sober anyway. Of course, I couldn't play worth shit after that. After I got outta jail, they canned my ass. Said I violated the morals clause on my goddamn contract. Ended up playing semi-pro in fucking Canada. Because my name still means something. Logan Carter is no goddamn douchebag.
Gameplay: Logan uses thrown weapons to kill zombies from a distance. Thrown weapons dont have durability so they do not break, however you do have to pick them up. Logan gets stronger at later stages of the game. Can regenerate health while drunk.

Advantages: Kills from distance, thrown weapons don't break, health regeneration, balanced character
Disadvantages: Harder to play in early stages of the game, only one damage mod for blunt/sharp

Summary: If you are just starting out in dead island, it is recommended you choose Sam B because of his health and the abundance of blunt weapons. More advanced players will do best with Purna or Xian, while the expert players should choose Logan who is the most challenging character to play but can become very powerful at later stages of the game.

Dead Island: Riptide has been released in a variety of different editions. Available versions include the standard version, limited edition, special edition, 'survivor' edition, 'Rigor Mortis Collector's' edition, and 'Zombie Bait' edition, with a variety of extra physical (notebooks, bobble figurines, and bottle openers) and in-game (character skins and weapons) content provided.

In January 2013, Deep Silver announced that Dead Island: Riptide would be available in a "Zombie Bait Edition", which would include a statuette of the bloodily dismembered torso of a bikini-clad woman. Marketing materials described it as the game's "take on an iconic Roman marble torso sculpture" and "a striking conversation piece". The statuette caused an overwhelmingly negative reaction from the video game press and from the public. Journalists described the statuette as "gross", as not something even a sociopath would want, or as a "text book example of the most extreme ends of misogynist fantasy, a woman reduced to nothing but her tits, her wounds hideously depicted in gore, jutting bones, and of course barely a mark covering her globular breasts". Within hours of the announcement, Deep Silver's UK branch issued a statement that they "apologize for any offense caused" and that they "sincerely regret this choice", reiterating "how deeply sorry we are, and that we are committed to making sure this will never happen again". Deep Silver's US branch disavowed any part in the promotion. Regardless, in April 2013, video game media reported that the "Zombie Bait Edition" - including the mutilated torso statuette - was still being sold in Europe and Australia.
